Recently, Dobong-gu hosted a meaningful “Democratic Experience Program” for university students from Southeast Asia. As part of this initiative, the students visited the Dobong District Council to learn about the democratization process and how local government operates in Seoul.
This cultural and educational exchange highlights a broader vision for the district: building a welcoming environment for international visitors. To support this growing international presence, there is an active focus on expanding the local Halal economy and driving job creation.
By providing expert Halal restaurant consulting, developing Halal-friendly bed and breakfasts, and promoting fully Halal-certified tourism services, we are working to make Dobong-gu an inclusive and highly attractive destination for global youth and Muslim tourists.
